Notre Dame Virtual School is now a Professional Development Point (PDP) Provider through the Massachusetts Department of Education. Teachers can earn PDPs for online workshops and courses taken through NDVS.

Notre Dame Virtual School uses a theme each month to focus on a globaltopic or issue. The themes for the 2009-2010 academic year include World Peace, World Day of Social Justice, and World Day of Cultural Diversity.the eight United Nations Millennium Development Goals, and Refugees.
